What is the quality of Minga Berlin Socks and Overknees?

The goal for Minga Berlin socks and overknees is to deliver you up-to-date colours and styles using the best yarns and knitting machines, delivering high-end quality socks for your feet!

Minga Berlin socks are knitted using GOTS certified Egyptian organic MAKO cotton. This long staple premium yarn from the Mako bay in Egypt is known since centuries for it's outstanding quality, softness and strength. Due to the high quality, long fibre, your MINGA BERLIN socks will stay soft even after multiple washing cycles.

Our overknees are made of organic combed cotton (certified by the 0rganic Exchange Organization). Combing cotton is a process wherein short cotton fibers are removed and the longer fibers are straightened, making the yarn stronger and softer.

Minga Berlin socks and overnkees are knitted on state of the art, computer-based Italian knitting machines for highest precision and quality.

The toes for Minga Berlin socks and overknees are hand-linked. Hand-linking is the most time consuming process of closing the toes. The toe seam is linked together loop by loop with a single thread, creating a uniform, smooth and perfectly flat finish.

MINGA BERLIN socks pass multiple quality control stages to provide you with the best possible product. Our manufacturer is ISO 9001 certified. During the whole production and packaging process samples are taken, tested and measured. We manufacture our socks using the latest Italian knitting machines, known to be the best in the world. All production steps, from cotton picking through yarn dyeing, knitting and packaging are GOTS certified, hence comply with highest social and ecological standards. Every sock leaving the company is also Oeko-Tex 100 certified. We always search for areas of improvement and your feedback is always welcome.
